10am–5pm. Welwyn Tennis Club Open Day. All ages welcome. Coaching followed by a tournament in the afternoon. Top of the playing fields.
10.30am . Discovering Sherrardspark Wood. A guided tour by the wardens. £3 per head. Meet at the Rectory Road car park past the Red Lion pub. Reservations call 01707 329034
12pm onwards . Darts Competition. £12 per team. Welwyn Sports and Social Club.
2.30pm. Sara Hartley. Professional soprano. Tickets £8 from Hill’s or phone 0207 696 1637. St Mary’s Church, refreshments in Church House.
